We are holding this event as a precursor to our official side event at the African IGF, “From Principles to Action: Shaping the Future for Feminist-Informed Digital Rights”.

The workshop will give participants an opportunity to explore the Global Digital Compact (GDC) and equip ourselves with actionable strategies to drive gender-equitable, inclusive digital governance across the continent.
Highlights of the workshop will include:
- Exploring how to activate the GDC for impactful intersectional feminist-informed digital rights advocacy.
- Building and strengthening alliances and establishing accountability frameworks for GDC implementation in Africa focusing on women, girls, and marginalized communities.
- Promoting and integrating intersectional feminist approaches in digital rights and governance for a more equitable future.
- Feed into the African IGF output document.
